Friday, August 7th

  • Lesson starts at 7:30PM! Lesson is FREE for AA and Dance Only pass holders. $5 otherwise.

Saturday, August 8th

• 11:30AM – 4PM – Workshop

• 7PM – 10PM – Saturday “Under the Stars”
  • Albuquerque Museum Amphitheater
  • Lesson @ 6:45PM. Show up early for easy parking!
• 10:30PM – 2:30AM – Saturday Late Night

Sunday, August 9th

Venues

There are four different venues for the Burque Blues Blowout event this August. The workshop will be at CSP Dance Studios and the dances will be at various locations listed below. We recommend arriving early for all the dances to get the best possible parking.

Maple Street Dance Space

The Friday night dance and Saturday night Late Night dance will be at Maple Street Dance Space. The Friday night dance will be in the front room facing Central and the Saturday Late Night will be in the back room. Entrance for the Saturday night dance is in the back alley.

Parking

There is parking available along Central and also parking north of Central along Wellesley Drive. If you get there early on Friday, parking shouldn’t be an issue. On Saturday night, we recommend parking north of Central near the venue along Wellesley. And don’t forget, Saturday Late Night dance entrance is in the back alley. It’s directly opposite (south) of where the front entrance is on Central.

Albuquerque Museum Amphitheater

The Saturday main dance featuring two live bands will be outdoors at the Albuquerque Museum Amphitheater. Doors open @ 6:30PM and I highly suggest getting there early for parking!

Arrive early! Doors open at 6:30PM and we recommend getting there early for best parking. There’s parking in the museum parking lot and along the streets next to the museum.

CSP Dance Studios

Saturday and Sunday Blues dance workshops will be here.

Monte’s Juke Joint

The Sunday night dance contains two rooms of dancing, including food and refreshments! Time to get down!
